Sefiya started as a model at the age of 16. draws inspiration from the likes of Rihanna and Ciara; two models/idols who has greatly influenced her style of music.

Career

Sefiya was from the northern part of Nigeria, music for her had always been a first love. Growing up, her flair for music was influenced by her elder brother. She draws inspiration from the likes of Rihanna and Ciara; which has greatly influenced her style of music. The multi-talented diva is an actress with starring roles in notable television and cinema productions; and also a business lady with interest in property/estate development.

She started her career in modelling at the age of 16. The multi-talented beauty shot into limelight in the entertainment industry when starred in the popular award-winning television mini-series TINSEL in 2011.

Her flair for music began when she met her first group in Calabar in 2005 (Night Fall Crew), then she moved to Lagos where she joined her second group (Extra Ordinaires).

In 2008 Sefiya got signed under a modelling agency (Pillars and Pride of Afrika Modelling Agency) where she modelled for companies like MTN, GLO as well as other relevant companies.

Sefiya studied Computer Science and graduated from of University of Lagos and she is also a certified graduate of the prestigious Nigerian Muson School of Music where she majored in music dynamics and vocal training hence her vocal prowess. She often spends hours in the studio turning her creative musings into masterpiece rhythms.

Hobbies

Sefiya is a shopaholic who also enjoys spending time in the gym to keep that body perfect. A greater lover of dogs (owns two cuties), she unwinds watching televisions shows like Property Brothers, Master Chef Australia and American Idol.
